ASET Academy has been a blessing to our entire family. It has allowed our children to have a community that provides a safe space to grow and develop their natural talents and interests in the performing arts. It has also given us as parents an opportunity to see our children's growth and commitment to their craft on and off stage. I also appreciate that the adults work with families as team to support our performing artists inside and outside of the program. Making it truly a holistic approach to educating the whole child while placing a emphasis on developing them as performing artist especially if it is a known goal.

The honest answer would have to be ASET Academy. At ASET Academy we focus on our arts and work hard to become the best we can be at them, but we also believe that the being good at the art is just half of what it takes to be a outstanding performer. You have to have the attitude that comes with that package and at ASET Academy our instructors have life changing, important conversations and build real bonds with their students so we can have the whole package.I’ve been with ASET Academy since I was a freshman in high school and I am now a senior. Through these years I have grown so close to EVERYONE there and I wouldn’t have made it this far through the most life changing years of my life without everyone at ASET Academy. The director, Mrs.Angel Adams, is one like I’ve never seen. As strict as she is about dancing she’s even more strict about real life situations in any problem I’ve had in life she was there for me and she does the same for every student and other young people we have met on this journey we have started and don’t feel like stopping.When I become successful in life I’m going to make sure I never forget to give back to my ASET family because without them I wouldn’t have this bright future ahead of me and I know for a fact forgetting them wont be easy because they will be with me every step of the way. ASET has been a place that my 13 year old has called home for about 6 years or so. ASET provides so much more for students than just learning a skill in the arts. Life lessons are taught and family-like bonds are created. My daughter loves ASET, and she has grown so much in the area of dance and continues to learn more every day she steps foot in the building. The leadership and teachers wouldn't have it any other way.
My daughter has been a member of ASET Academy since she was 3 years old. She is now 6 and every year she is pushed to be the best she can be and it shows. She has developed into a phenomenon and I have to the thank ASET for their hard work and dedication with my baby girl!

The kids loved attending your classes ... even my son is trying to tumble and dance now :) They auditioned (and won) parts in a their community theatre play which starts rehearsal this week. Please keep me apprised about all of your classes. Also consider doing some "pop-up" one-time only, intensive classes. By the way, my staff members raved about you at our meeting. Keep up the good work - we are all so proud of ASET!! Been very satisfied with program and the variety of class offering. Communication & reminders delivered in multiple modes would be the only area of minimal improvement. Thank you!
I really appreciate how my questions or concerns are addressed when they arise. There were a few concerns addressed during the Pre-Academy meeting and those who attended believe that addressing those concerns will help bring us more in the loop to become more involved with the academy. We are excited about being a part of ASET and look forward to growing with the academy. Thanks for listening!
I really enjoy ASET Academy. My kids love it. I love how the instructors work with my children and their social emotional issues and not judge them. I love the aspect of teaching the children more than just dance but preparing them for their future. My only concern is better communication.
My daughter has always shared a passion for dancing and performing. However, due to her struggle with anxiety and other unique challenges, performing arts has proven to be difficult and overwhelming for her -that is until we discovered ASET Academy.
Prior to joining ASET Academy, my daughter had participated in several art programs including karate, swimming etc. These programs did prove beneficial to her, but she was not doing what she enjoyed the best ─ dancing. She eventually did start dance classes, but I did not see much progress after trying it for about a year. Summer 2012, my daughter and I attended one of ASET Academy's stage performances. We were both impressed. Immediately after, I asked my daughter if she wanted to stay with her old studio or try the new one. Without hesitation, she said,” I want to give the new one a try”. Since joining ASET Academy, my daughter's confidence has soared! She has done three stage performances, which in the past have always been difficult for her. Just recently, my daughter asked me if she could audition for a play at her school! I sometimes find it hard to believe this is the same child who walked with her head down less than a year ago, and cried every time she would go on stage. I am thankful for the support the staff & parents have shown her since joining ASET, and for truly believing in her!!!! |
